During the Beach Cleanup Project, some youngsters working with us took a
catamaran out in the lagoon during their lunch break.
Kids in the Moreketiara "Camp," which was an unused set of spartan
apartment-like buildings built by Japanese engineers some years before.  
Nobody lived in these buildings before the tsunami, and here the families
await relocation into permanent housing.
All cousins, the ruins behind belong to the family of the two boys in front.
This girl worked for Artur at his fishing supply shop in Dickwella after
school.  Here she ties hooks onto a Long Line.

This girl lost everyone in her family to the tsunami, and is staying with a family
friend at the Handloom Factory Camp in Tangalle.  Emily Church brought
some photos she took of the children a couple days before.
