Sri Lanka Navy
Tangalle Camp
Commander Jaggath Mutubandara brought the Navy to help up and down
the coast in Southern Sri Lanka.  Cmdr Jaggath became the Hambantota
District Tsunami Relief Coordinator, and lent us many hands to help with
security at distributions, setting up a clinic near Camp, providing me with
lanterns and some nets for the fishermen.  To have the Navy help in the village
and Camp was certainly a morale booster; and helped the locals feel that they
were getting attention.  The Navy deserves many thanks from all the foreign
relief workers, and the locals as well.

privileged to be invited to photograph Sri Lanka's Finest.

More Navy officers; wonderful men, and my friend with the beret, Mr. Mellon.

trains the Special Forces for the Sri Lanka Army.  They were performing
joint maneuvers on the beach for training.
